Work in Progress

You oughta hear the mirror in my house You oughta fear her pretty, pretty mouth Says I’m imperfect in every way: “Miss Almost, Miss Maybe, Miss Halfway”/...But I’m gonna burn, I’m gonna shine and multiply I’m gonna fill up the great divide You’ll never break me with all the things you say “Miss Almost, Miss Maybe, Miss Halfway”

Weekend!

This weekend has effectively rocked my face off.
Watching The Importance of Being Earnest was a great time and I really like that movie/play. The parts of ...A Slipper and a Rose? Something along those lines...that I actually saw were really good (I was very much sleepy and the futon was very magically comfy).
And on Saturday there was Rob Pavaronian hosting the battle of the bands and that was absolutely freaking amazing. He's a music nerd comedian that did a rant on Pachelbel that's the most ingenious thing EVER...so Sarah had some shirts made and we completely decked ourselves out in punk-ness and had an amazing time. And we GOT TO MEET HIM! And take a picture with him! And it was just amazing.
Today...
Started off somewhat =P-ey. I started doing homework at 1130 and my first true break was dinner at 5. Then I did more homework. And there's still stuff I haven't finished quite yet. I got a lot done...but I neglected a LOT last weekend and now it's biting me in the behind. But it's ok. Because if I was a chem major it would be calc 2, o chem, physics AND bio that would be kicking my rumpus right now. Theory and history and practicing I can handle. I'm almost caught up with history and that makes me very much joyous.
But then!
There was some Jane Austen movie watching in the land of Sarah and Rachel V's dorm that made everything very much happy. There was some Bridget Jones, too, which is awesome. So even though I don't want it to be tomorrow (it's a Monday...I'm not fond of those...) I'm glad I had a happy end to the night.
Sometimes a good movie and a half with some close friends makes life very much happy.
And now I'm going to do one last listening log, prepare my backpack for my first few classes and head off to dreamland. Which is a glorious place.
