IT'S FRIDAY!!!
Huzzah!
I'm excited.
Not much is going on right this second...
I just have some time to kill.
So I'm killing it.
*stab*
Heheh...
Aaanyhoo.
Yesterday was pretty much amazing.
I woke up for work a little late (kept pressing the snooze, was dreading it, lost track of how many times I did press the snooze...). Being late isn't any big deal, just as long as we actually show up in the morning it's all good. So I got there later than normal and the guy that's been put on our floor decided to take over the bathrooms. So, for the first time since November, I GOT TO CLEAN THE CLASSROOMS!!! I LOVE cleaning the classrooms. Seriously. For whatever reason, wiping of desks and cleaning chalkboards is happy in my world.
And then I was supposed to do field experience.
But lo and behold, my school had a snow day. So I slept instead for a few hours and was very much happy.
Then my mini-presentation was happy in my K-8 methods class. Band was joyous. I went running again and that was, as always, wonderful. And slept very soundly.
Not much else has been going on in Rachel's land, so I shall leave you with the dreams I've had over the past couple of nights. Enjoy.
Wednesday night: My mom and I were out running errands and decided that we would pick up some food to bring home for lunch. EXCEPT. The guy handing my mom the food made her mad for some odd reason, I have no idea what it was, so she decided to kill him Sweeney style and stuff him in the trunk of the car. I was all "Mom...I totally understand why you killed him and everything, and that's fine, but he's still bleeding! It'll ruin the trunk!" to which she responded "Don't worry, I have it all planned out." Then it switched to me giving an aunt some things I thought would be very useful, including five hair dryers, a curling iron and the longest book I've ever read.
Last night: I went on a band trip somewhere and saw a bunch of Broadway shows (though I'm pretty sure we didn't go to NY). After coming home, I was sitting in the kitchen eating dinner with everyone when there's this ominously loud plane noise overhead and me along with everyone else at the table inferred it as a plane was about to crash and I had this sudden dread that it was going to land on the roof of the kitchen right above where I was sitting so I freaked out and screamed at my mom "I LOVE YOU!" when everyone looks at me like I'm nuts and my dad says "What are you talking about? That's only our backyard neighbor on his riding lawnmower..." And so it was. Then my mom found out that Sweeney Todd was being revived in Denmark and REALLY wanted to go see it, so we all packed up and went to leave except she didn't want to fly. She wanted to walk. So we set off with our overnight bags and pillows and managed to walk to Denmark. And it took less than a day. After we arrived, we were really hungry and my mom realized that she hadn't switched our money over to Francs so we start heading off towards a bank when she spots some random lady on the side of the road who claimed she would switch our money for us if we gave her twenty bucks and got lunch at McDonald's. I was trying to talk my mom out of it, but she thought it was a really good deal and went with it.
And I woke up.
