Work in Progress

You oughta hear the mirror in my house You oughta fear her pretty, pretty mouth Says I’m imperfect in every way: “Miss Almost, Miss Maybe, Miss Halfway”/...But I’m gonna burn, I’m gonna shine and multiply I’m gonna fill up the great divide You’ll never break me with all the things you say “Miss Almost, Miss Maybe, Miss Halfway”

Yay

I have to work in forty five minutes. Blargh. :P At least it's money...
THE WEATHER IS FREAKING AMAZING!
It's already fifty degrees outside and it's supposed to get up to sixty five....HELLO CAPRIS! =]
Last night was pretty much amazing.
Band run out =]
We went to Harmony, Minnesota and did a little concert, got some food and came back.
The concert went about as well as it could considering we hadn't played as a group for eleven days.
But really...if my high school band tried to pull THAT off...we would have failed miserably, I still remember how interesting things got after a four day weekend. So it was really pretty darn good.
The ride home was AWFUL...it was supposed to take an hour and a half, but it took twice that much becuase it was so freaking foggy...like the dementors were having a massive orgy of some sort. It was fogged to the point that one could hardly see out of the windows, which set my motion sickness off completely as I have to see moving things and I couldn't.
I hate tour buses.
Junior year, Inaugural Parade, the way home took twenty three hours instead of thirteen because one of our six buses broke down two hours away from home and as soon as we got it all straightened out so we could continue, ANOTHER did, so we had to wait for FOUR HOURS for the mechanic to get there. I got on the bus at 8 am Saturday and we got to LW at 6 am Sunday.
Then senior year we went to Indianapolis for a competition and one bus broke down in the same parking lot as the Inaugural incident and we were delayed for a little while, I don't remember how long.
This last time...the fog... =P I think I'm cursed.
Yesterday I finally downloaded iTunes...I went to get a song from the other thing I had, but they didn't have it and it's been out for a while, so I got frustrated and gave up and just got the other, and I promptly spent an hour copying CDs and I now have 285 songs on it.
It's frustrating, though, because only three songs that I already had on my computer were transferred to iTunes. The rest are stored somewhere odd, I'm not sure where they are, but I'm trying to figure it out...I subscribed to the Mugglenet podcast, too =] Excitement!
And life is happy.
