It's almost spring!!!!!!!
So...earlier...I think I figured out what that was from.
My aunt came in the morning. EARLY. Like ealier than 930 early. I heard her come in. Then Snoopy started barking...and kept barking...for around a half hour...then finally shut up...then, around 10, I gave up on sleep [I was still rather tired from yesterday...had it not been for the ruchus (sp?) I would still be out], rolled out of bed and got dressed to see my aunt, who I've missed quite a bit.
Got downstsairs.
They left.
And it was quiet.
And I was wide awake.
So I called my mom..."running errands" was all she would tell me. So I got in the shower. Got out...took my time and all, so it was almost 11 by this point..still gone.
Due to lack of sleep, people leaving on me and lack of food, I was rather moody and everything was setting me off.
Some rice cakes, caffeine and company fixed all that. They were finally back around noon and my aunt stuck around for a whole half hour before taking off.
All is well in Rachel's World once more.
Then there's some other semi frustrating stuff.
We've got US Cellular now. After my parents' extended vendetta against Verizon. When we got US...they were fine with it.
NOW it my mom's phone doesn't get a perfectly wonderful signal in Target.
Which is, btw, the ONLY place it's screwy. Ever.
And she suddenly dislikes them today because my aunt has Cingular and can get a signal in Target.
AARGH!
It's not gonna be perfect!
That seems to be her aim...abosulte perfectness. =P
*rolls eyes*
Anyhoo.
My aunt so happens to be Lutheran. And she brought over a book about Lutheran-ness to my mom for her to read.
My mom said she's considering switching.
Which brings some thoughts to mind...
My mom wouldn't be the only person in my family to switch. I'm sure my dad would, too, and if they both do so, I don't see why my brother wouldn't.
But...do I?
[this is to say, if they DO switch...likely, but not guaranteed]
I mean...idk...I'm not sure how much of the Catholic church I agree with, but changing...there's a long and drawn out process...I have been Catholic my whole life, I'm not one to just change...
Cause for more thought.
It's warm today.
Smells like spring! :D
Yay!
I'm wearing my short sleeve shirt with the owls on it at last! And I'm not freezing when I walk outside...even without a jacket. And shoes. =]
Manicotti tonight. Happy joyfulness.
And after dinner, Kristina's! For...funness...I'm not sure what we're doing yet, but I'll enjoy it, I'm sure.
In other news, break is almost over. Which kind of sucks.
BUT...then it's closer to Easter, closer to tour week >>>and<<< closer to NY!!! Then it'll be almost summer, then it WILL be summer, THEN...HARRY FREAKING POTTER!!! WOO HOO! =] =] =]
Excitement!
